		<description>Hi Katie and Lou
Just wondering whether you'd consider doing a post on books that have something special for parents as well as their children. My young son and I tend to have differing opinions about which books are good enough to read again and again . . . and again. The other day I discovered Special Kev by Chris McKimmie. It works on several levels and is brilliant for both kids of various ages (great colours, unusual themes, Australian cultural references) and adults. I need more!
Thanks for all your ideas and suggestions.

<description>How lovely to find this blog! And how ridiculous I had to find out about it from The Horn Book! It's a fantastic and much-needed resource and I will be passing it on to my various networks.

I just wanted to comment on your post about Shirley Hughes. I recently picked up a (sadly remaindered) copy of her coffee-table style autobiography, "A Drawing Life". If you can't find a copy in a local bookshop, it's listed on amazon.co.uk Highly recommended.

Cheers,
