Thank you for mentioning me and my blog in this inspiring post! I am in amazing company. I'm so sorry I didn't write to thank you before--I read you in a feedreader, and it hasn't been updating (the dreaded red exclamation point). I missed your posts and came directly here to check for them--and I'm so glad I did! Now I have to catch up. Lucky me!

So many lovely ideas, I too would find it hard to paint over the board book though! I had a little book that we were carrying around to write down some of the stories Olive has started making up, and then she was drawing pictures to go along with them. It was in the basket underneath her buggy and which unfortunately got left out in the rain at an airport in France and when we got it back it was all sodden and soggy, we were so sad!

Another company for turning your photos into books is Bobs Books http://www.bobbooks.co.uk quite a few of my friends have made lovely books here. We are going to put together a book of our year as Christmas presents.
