The trailer for Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs promises us an adaptation that holds not one iota of the magic of the book. Too bad.

But it looks like Where the Wild Things are will be full of magic. And that is wonderful!

Oh my. When I saw this trailer yesterday I started having heart palpitations! It looks amazing,and I’m having goosebumps just thinking about it. And Arcade Fire is my favourite band, it is all just so perfect!. This is my favourite book from my own childhood and now my son’s favourite book. It’s always a little scary when someone attempts to make a movie from a book that is so loved – the expectations are sooo high, but this looks like it will not disappoint. I agree – the Order of the Phoenix was the best movie adaptation of the series so far. The Half Blood Prince is my favourite Harry Potter book so I am very excited to see that movie.

ha- katie took the words right out of my mouth! the anne of green gables series definitely was a favorite of mine when i was a wee lass. can’t forget any of the peanuts movies (great pumpkin, valentine, etc) either!

I could watch this trailer over and over (I just did…)! Can’t wait to see it!!!! Bridge to Terabithia is near the top of my list too.

If you judge by repeat viewings alone, the Anne of Green Gables telemovie would win hands down for me… I can’t tell you how many times I watched that on VCR when I was growing up!!!

oh I’ve been waiting so long for this film to come out, I loved watching the trailer, it looks fabulous!

My favourite of all time would have to be The Wizard of Oz – I’ve watched it a million times and still never tire of it.

I saw the trailer today too on another site and it looks great
Probably my favourite Book>Movie is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (the original, havent’ seen the Johnny Depp one)
