I am looking forward to this one!
I just love Alison Lester’s books and have even gone so far as to purchase a few on ebay which are out of print and thus hard to find.
We were introduced to her writing by Imagine which was given to my older daughter as a 1st bday present, and is one which I have replicated for others.
I think my favourites are the ‘Clive’ series featuring the 7 child friends with their various likes and dislikes. It is such a simple concept but so gorgeous with the illustrations in particular. My 5yo daughter recently got out Clive Eats Alligators for story time before bed and we had a lovely reminisce over all the friends.
Such lovely books and even better to be supporting and Australian.
